50 Cent is denying allegations that he assaulted an ex-girlfriend. This week the rapper was charged with one count of misdemeanor domestic violence after he allegedly kicked his former girlfriend during an altercation on June 23rd.
50 Cent - born Curtis Jackson - also faces four charges of vandalism. In a statement posted on CNN.com, the rapper's lawyer Scott Leemon says 50 "denies these allegations as made against him." He also points out that Jackson has not been arrested. Fifty's camp is also trying to get to the bottom of the case and is currently conducting their own investigation into the accusations.
If convicted on all five counts, 50 Cent could face up to five years in jail and $46,000 worth of fines. He's scheduled to appear in court on July 22nd.
