Grammy award winning producer, Pop Wansel, artistically known as "Pop," confirms that K. Michelle was not present during the creation of Elle Varner's "Cold Case."
Pop: "I didn't see K. Michelle in the room when we made the song. But I love K. Michelle. Shouts to her. [Laughs]"
The two singers were close friends at one point, but the friendship failed earlier this summer.
The reason for the break up was unclear, but K. Michelle accused Elle Varner of stealing her singing style. K. Michelle also credited herself for the writing of Elle's "Cold Case."
