Joe Lhota and Bill de Blasio have agreed to move their final mayoral debate from Tuesday night to Wednesday. Both candidates agreed that it would be a bad idea to have the debate on the one-year anniversary of Hurricane Sandy.
Lhota and de Blasio issued a rare joint statement over the weekend. "This is the most respectful and appropriate way to honor the memories of those who were lost, and to stand with those who are still struggling to recover," the candidates said. "This day should be marked with solemn reflection and remembrance."
Lhota and de Blasio's final debate will now take place this Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 7pm. You can listen to the debate live on WOR 710.
