Democratic Candidates Square Off in Final Mayoral Debate

Democratic Candidates Square Off in Final Mayoral Debate

The Democratic NYC mayoral candidates will be facing off one last time in the final debate before the Sept. 10 primary. Bill de Blasio has taken a strong lead among the Democratic candidates over the last couple weeks, while Christine Quinn and Bill Thompson remain within a few points of one another for second place.

If no candidate receives 40 percent of the votes, which likely could happen, the top two candidates from the primary will face off three weeks later in a runoff vote. Also participating in the debate besides de Blasio, Quinn and Thompson are Anthony Weiner and John Liu.

You can listen to the entire 90-minute debate, starting at 7pm, on WOR 710. Click here to listen online.
