A vending machine in City Hall has once again been stocked with candy, now that Mayor Michael Bloomberg has left office.
The New York Post says high calorie snacks were off limits during his administration. Instead, staffers were given the choice of healthier treats like granola bars and sugarless fruit roll-ups.
The healthy snacks in the vending machine were in line with Bloomberg's health policies and initiatives.
Now, many are happy to see the candy and chips back.
"The nanny has left the building, so now if I want Twix bars or Doritos for lunch, I can finally have them without having to leave the building," said a City Hall staffer.
